I know it has been a few days since I have written in my journal. It is so hard to get here sometimes. My life is extremely busy watching my grandchildren, taking everyone to work and school. I'm nonstop these days. I love it...don't get me wrong but it is exhausting. Geez I think I have already written a similiar post to this one before. =) The story of my life. Chaos, busy busy busy and loving it......but I think my age is showing in how exhausted I become in it all.
I can remember raising my children... (awe the memories - they are ones I hold dear in my heart forever) and in watching my oldest daughter work all day, sometimes cook dinner, bathe her children, play with them etc.......I wonder how I ever did it with three children and survived..lol and that is with one child still left to go. My 16 year old and she is giving me a run for my money...seriously. =)
But I do realize she (my oldest daughter) is 25 years young and I was at one time as well..so my age IS showing. lol
I can't handle it like I used too....but at the end of the day, as tired as I am.....my grandchildren bring me the greatest joy. I couldn't be any happier as their "granny green" than I am. They are a light in my world that shines on a constant basis. I simply adore them.
Watching my oldest daughter, as the great mother she is.....it shows me what a great job I did in raising her. Yep...I take some credit for who she is. I gave it all I had and then some. My children were and are still my world too. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. I am very proud of her. The other two....the jury is still out....just kidding! They are pretty doggone awesome too!
Sitting here, writing all of this down....seeing the words.....I feel totally blessed today. I know that I am. Thankful for everyone in my life. That includes all of my online friends, my partner and many more.
